Digitek Flash Trigger + Receiver For Canon review by Geetesh on 5/17/2016
After researching for days as to what to use as an off camera flash firing solution, I finally decided to take a chance on these Digitek Flash Trigger + Receiver. No they don't support E-TTL, but for the price, you simply can't beat it. They arrived, came with everything as promised, and as soon as the batteries were in, everything was ready to go!
This pair is two useful gadgets in one. It can be used with the transmitter in hand and the receiver on the camera to remotely fire a camera when the photographer isn't close enough to press the button, or it can be used with the transmitter on the camera and the receiver on a flash to allow a camera to remotely fire the flash.
I bought two receivers and one transmitter to use with my Canon 70D and various flashes. I do not think I had any miss fires and could sync up to 1/320s no problem. I have not done a distance test on them yet but I did fire them inside from around 80 meters away. The build quality is outstanding. The receivers work fine and both the flashes are firing without any problem. I also tested this set out as a remote trigger and it worked without fail. Pressing the transmitter halfway focused and the camera and a full press fires the shutter. The main advantage is the On/Off as well as channel selection button is outside and to the side to the trigger/receiver unlike the Yongnuo triggers.
I am very pleased with this set. Have fun shooting.
